Best Grilling Marinade
Ingredients
2 lbs flank steak, or 2 blocks of firm tofu½ c soy sauce
¼ c olive oil
¼ c brown sugar
¼ c green onions, minced
3 T sesame seeds
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ t pepper
½ t ground ginger
Steps
1. If using tofu, drain it really well, then slice it into ½-inch thick slabs. If using steak, rinse it off and pat dry.2. Assemble all the marinade ingredients in a large glass dish. Place the steak of tofu into the marinade. Turn to coat, seal the container, the marinade in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
3. Cook steak or tofu over the grill to your preferred doneness. If using steak, let it sit for 10 minutes, then slice it into thin slices.
